Not my bouquet, so no kind remarks necessary. Just thought you'd like to see some nicely fashioned blooms (I think) cut yesterday from the bush I just obtained for my friend. I don't even like this colour, but I find this threesome very stylish. Pic is a bit soft, but taken with her iPhone.

Nice pic Betsy. Stainless Steel is a favourite of a friend, says the blooms sometimes look like parchment, subtle colour changes acc to weather/season. Bit pale for my taste though.
Then again she recommended Ebb Tide, which I'm finding I dislike. Itsy bitty flowers, weak, small, odd colours, none of which are that mysterious deep purple as promoted.

Ironically, the friend who now has SS has Ebb Tide on her list for 2013. I have passed on the scuttlebutt, but she still wants to try it. . God loevs a tryer.

Did either of you ever get a clove scent from ET?

Link doesn't work for non-members, never has and never will. Can you provide some of the descendent names, roseman?

Wow, what a bloomfest, Barbara! Have sent a copy of your pic to friend with baby SS. She is entranced by it. I'm not appropriately supportive of her in this passion ;-), so your pic shows that she's hardly alone in this enthusiasm.

Do you exhibit? I know that it is a consistent winner of ribbons and hardware.

Sproul liked it, obviously. Me, I don't see any greats among the HT/floris popping out of that list. Honey Dijon is well liked and widely grown, but it's no A-lister. Thanks for the list, roseman!

Nah, not worth it, I think. I had thought the flowers would smell like clove pinks. If not, I don't give too hoots about this one.
Edit: er, that would be two hoots, too

I couldn't smell any clove scent but then I had to be a contortionist to get down far enough to smell the darn thing. I did have some perfume but not strong.

Just looking down that list of roses....Poopsie! Why on earth would anyone name a rose Poopsie? Wonder if its small, white, fluffy and yaps? Lol

Hi, Just wondering if anyone has tried Lagerfield and how it compares to Stainless Steel? They look fairly similar.

Hi,
Lady X has a more purplish tinge here. This one's a bit sunburnt but you can see what I mean.
