Governor McQuarie rose
Does anyone have Governor McQuarie rose , i have heard on this page and research too that it has great perfume and great disease resistance . Its one i am going to trial next year in pots along with Deane Ross , Dame Joan Sutherland , Onkaparinga , Amazing Grace , and a yellow , all these supposed to be fragrant and disease resistant ....... Fragrant Cloud too , just for its fragrance , hope its not a BS magnet in our climate ....

Re: Governor McQuarie rose
Maree I got Governor Maquarie this season after I was after it for a while and found it hard to find at nurserys. It's by Swanes bred by Trevor Grant.Very disease resistant and a big bushy grower and healthy plant.Flower is so pretty and classy with nice shape.Perfume is good, but not strong.Mine has a few buds soon to open again and will post a few pics.Awsome rose tho.

Re: Governor McQuarie rose
Fantastic Danny , have you sprayed it at all , they say if you spray with chemicals , twice a year is enough , for Governor Mac . I don't use them , i use Neem oil and Seasol , fragrance is really important though , thanks .......
