Mmmmm, I can smell them from here. Just beautiful. Firefighter is on my wishlist, as is PJP. Just wish Red Intuition was perfumed!
Wonderful collection you have there Happy Roses. Your roses do indeed look happy!

Yes they look very happy from my end, too. Moonstone has a very fitting name, I like it and Firefighter is now definitely on my list, too; great pictures. Just out of curiosity, Happy, does your Folklore have a good fragrance? It’s supposed to, but the one in my old garden never gave me anything.

Thanks, I try to keep them happy, Folklore has very little fragrance that I can detect, but it is it's first bloom since I bought it and only just getting started. Moonstone's fragance is mild when compared to PJP2 and Firefighter who both are more intense.

Absolutely beautiful pix. I've only got buds on the usual never-fail Parole and Valencia at the moment, but there's a baby bud forming on one of the Frefighters now. Nice to be able to ogle roses at least on screen, Happy Days!

I can’t stop looking at FF, it’s a beautiful rose of course, but mainly because the picture is so clear. When I take photos of my red roses, the colours are so supersaturated that it’s sometimes hard to get any definition. But yours is cool and crisp, I don’t get, why doesn’t this happen to me? Do you use a specific setting on your camera, Happy? Or do you take your photos on an Iphone, too; (like some other great pictures that turned up on RTA) because if you do, I’ll flip out.

Soory Jac2, I used my phone, but before you flip, I took these photos during sunrise and shielded the rose from the sun with my hand. About 20 photos from different angles and different settings later I finally got one I liked. I have a camera but: 1.batteries flat 2.don't where the cord is 3.still can't use the thing properly..
I do agree that red is hard to get right. The shade in real life is slightly different.

OK, that’s it; I’m going to give my phone a go, too. Yes, red shades are never really quite right, no matter what I do, even if the photo is good. Cheers, Jackie …
