Root Depth Empty Root Depth

Post by Alee 4th May 2011, 14:22

What are the average depths of different types of Roses (Miniature, HT, Climbers, Teas, Floribunda and etc.) I understand that most roses are budded on to rootstock, so in these cases what are the depths of diffferent rootstocks and how far away from the plant do the spread, what sort of a radius does the roots have. This is just to get an idea to plant roses in pots.
