Howdy Margaret

Thought you might be able to help me ID theses roses. They are from a very old house here in Deniliquin and I was told by the owners that they would be minimum 80yrs old.

The first and the third one I like, but the third i think has something which could be dynamite

Aargh, I have the wrong sort of visual memory to be able to ID roses, especially HTs! I know what the name of the rose should look like, so I can spell, but as for the rose itself... If you add the photos Simon suggested I'll ask others to look. We need to know whether they climb. I assume they're repeat-flowerers? Much scent?
By the way Bruce, the "Tasha's Tarlee Pink" that the shearer told us was > 70 years old has been IDed by David Ruston as Sylvia (1970s). Wonderful picking rose and very floriferous, but not Heritage for a good few years yet.

Thanks Margaret, I have "Sylvia" as well and the "Tasha's Tarlee Pink" certainly look alike. They are both a little leggy here, very fragrant and a nice clear pink which is my favourite colour. Heritage or not it is still a great HT.
