Vale Ray
Sadly, I received an email from David (Roseman) on Saturday informing me that Karen's partner, Ray, had lost his battle with cancer and passed away. His passing was announced on the 12th of November, 2010.
Karen is well known and loved here on Rose Talk as 'Rosemeadow'. Her passion for roses knows no bounds. Both Ray and Karen worked tirelessly to create their slice of rose heaven near Mudgee in NSW.
I am sure I speak for everyone here in saying we will be here to support you in any way possible over the coming months as you come to terms with your loss. I would like to extend my deepest sympathies to you, Karen, and to your lovely children. I hope to see you back on Rose Talk in the future.
I would also like to invite all Rose Talk members to add their own sentiments for Karen and her family so that she may read it when she returns and know our love is with her in her time of need.

Re: Vale Ray
My dearest friends, thankyou for all your very special thoughtful words for me, also my sister inlaw who has read here too with me ( it's her laptop).
Ray died on the 9th of November at 7.40 p.m. with his family with him here at home. That was last Tuesday and and had his funeral today at, Tuesday as well. I want to write more but I need to post again a little latter as my daughters want me to watch a movie with them as this is my sister inlaw's laptop.

Re: Vale Ray
Karen, so sorry to hear of Rays passing. We've been rose friends for a very long time and you have been through a lot over the years. Your rose gardening has been an inspiration to us all. May your roses bring you much joy and peace over the days ahead.

Dear Karen,
I am ridiculously new on here as in yesterday and have read so many of your wonderful words of rose wisedom already.
Feel like i've got to know you thru these words and am so very saddened to read further that your beloved now dances freely like the entwined fragrances of our beloved roses.
May your beautiful heart recover when its ready. May your beautiful rose gardens comfort you as the tears fall and memories come forth.
Much Light n Love from a stranger

Dear Karen,
I am so sorry for your sad loss and more sorry that I didn't learn of it earlier. Thinking of you and the little ones and hope that you are finding some small solace in that wonderful garden you have created. xx Rita
