The red spider has attacked my roses in plague proportions. Where I used neem oil following the  recommended follow up spray the bushes are generally clean however other parts of the garden have been devastated. Because of the heat i.e. 45 degrees today I haven't used neem oil however I  used Vertimec in the cool of the evening last night.

Today I changed tactics and used a jet of water hopefully to remove the little @&$?&!/% in my front beds. I plan to do the same again tomorrow.
