Best thornless rambler? Empty Best thornless rambler?

Any opinions on best thornless ramblers?
I'm looking for one that is preferably single/semi-double which has good prominent stamens and vigorous. So, potentially, 'Veilchenblau' or 'Violette' ? What are the thorns like on 'Rambling Rector' or 'Kew Rambler'?
Does 'Tea Rambler/Paul's Tea Rambler' open fully (ie. to expose stamens)?

Wendy, are you a premium member of HMF, if not I could do an "advanced search" of it for you on the criteria you have presented. We will have to get some more info and narrow things down a bit.
