Re: Photos from Dimity Cottage
Well what a learning curve that was & thanks so much to everyone again. The next time I put up photos they will of my roses more advanced as these were after pruning & when just getting a fresh go on.
The Rose I am trying to identify was brought by me from a nursery on the highway near Coffs Harbour & I have no idea of the name of the Nursery. The Rose starts out darker pink than that in the bud & new leaf growth is Redish. the leaves you can see belong to Le Marque, this rose has leaves that are roundish & redish when new changing to a Mid Green they are quite tough when mature. It is a Climbing Rose & the stems on maturing are thumb thickness & thorns are greyish, longish & flatish (not ones that stand up in the air). The Rose has been in the ground for around 10yrs was very slow to start off with, then slow to flower only producing one single now and again, but this year it has started producing clusters of around 4-5 blooms. The flowers measure around 4" 10cms across. For so long I have wanted to know its name any help would be great.

Re: Photos from Dimity Cottage
What a lovely garden and Well Done Dianne!! I'm dreading the day I want to post photos! Will get my son to do it - like Maree, I'm not technical and he can't understand me!!
Thank you for taking the trouble to including the Auriculas, I have decided to have a go with them myself. Your Eranthemum is beautiful too.

Do have a go at the Auriculas, as I was so worried as I planted 22 of them and thought what a horrible expense if they die. I just didn't want to plant anything else in that spot. I have found putting the gravel around the top of them keeps them cool and the stems from getting too wet.
Enjoy!!
Enjoy!!

Hi Alee, The flowers are Azaleas in the big pots, they did put on a beautiful show this year. They are still in flower now even though it is warming up quickly. How do Roses grow in your part of the World.

Updated photos from Dimity Cottage - Hope you Enjoy them, they aren't great but they are the result of what I do day in day out. There are a lot of plants, roses & perennials still to flower.
