Hi Everyone,

As most of you know I always like to keep my garden as organic as possible. The last obstacle for me in this quest has been weed killer. I have used everything under the sun until I came across fast action round up and it killed them within 24-48 hours and I was very happy. However, even wearing a mask the fumes gave me a headache for several days (we don't use chemicals in the house so I guess my body just doesn't like them).

NOW .. I tried this recipe below. The weeds died in under 24 hours and some disintegrated completely by the time I checked on them this morning. I am SO please I just wanted to share this awesome recipe with you all.

We have such a large garden (and many of them) so this has been a real find for me.

Natural weed killer

3 Cups white vinegar
2 Cups lemon juice
1/2 Cup of salt
3 Tablespoons of peppermint castile soap (or use plain castille with a few drops of peppermint oil)

Shake and spray!

I seriously cannot believe how well it worked. I was under the impression only highly toxic chemicals would work and this worked BETTER than them. Not even normal roundup usually kills the weeds in our garden.

It looks good I looked it up on google and you can make your own. You use Olive Oil to make it but I didn't see anything about peppermint in the ready made ones.

Yeah I saw that. I didn't have time to make it myself or the utensils to do it, so it was just easier to order it online. I have seen peppermint castille for sale but I just added a few drops of peppermint essential oils to my normal batch instead.
