Re: Big Purple, Big Keeper
I have Big Purple at $15 in 8" pots or $12 bareroot in winter. Have been growing it for 12 years and have never had a problem with it. It's as good as or better than the latest roses on offer today. Definately ticks all the boxes.

Well, after the initial rave last season, I still love mine, and consider it miles more beautiful and fragrant than the much newer Blackberry Nip. MY Big Purples didn't have a prolific season last year, but what did emerge was so gratifying that I am very happy to have them around. In this second year, I think I will see more blooms.

BP flushes frequently but does not have blooms throughout
the entire season, one of the very best HT's.

Re: Big Purple, Big Keeper
I've just planted a BP this winter - I can't wait to see how it does! How does it compare with Blackberry Nip?
