Rose Society Vic show this weekend

Is anyone heading to this? I'm looking forward to seeing some wonderful roses and listen to some of the speakers.

Maree, it's at the Mt Waverley Community Centre, cnr Stephensons Rd and Miller Crescent, opposite the station.

The show at the Waverley Community Centre is part of the the National Rose Society of Australia Convention which is being hosted by the Victorian Rose Society. A dinner will follow the show on Saturday night where the prizes from the show will be presented. On Sunday morning the NRSA AGM will be held at the Buckingham International.

I had the pleasure of attending the NRSA Convention over the weekend. There were many enjoyable aspects of the weekend with the two I will remember for years to come being visits to Victoria State Garden at Werribee and the Mornington Rose Garden at Mornington. If you live in or visit Melbourne if you haven't seen these two magnificent rose gardens I would suggest you put them on your things to do.[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
