Re: Unknown China?
Looks like it (esp the first photo). I can never get a decent photo of ours.
It also looks like something else but for the life of me I cannot remember what it is.
Ian??

Re: Unknown China?
Some one did mention a name but I have forgotten, this gets a little mildew but when a rose flowers nonstop through a southern winter what can you say. Ten Thousand Lights did the same but does not mildew at all , Really getting the hang of these little China's. Have a couple of TTL hybrids growing at the moment , so will be interesting.

My Old Blush didn't have any mildew this last year and other varieties did.

Re: Unknown China?
My old Blush never seems to have enough leaves on it to get mildew. Not sure why its just no bushy.
Its a shrub about 2 foot tall. Has never really grown much. Gets a moderate number of flowers on it. Not sure if it isthe humidity but black spot does not seem to worry it.

Warren
What is the shrub form like.
I remember what I thought it looked like. Archduke Charles though it is usually a bit darker. It seems to be a better shrub than old blush (at our place).

This is not rose related but one of my interests, have been working on this for the past 33 yrs, its a Swamp Cypress (Taxodium distichum)

Is it just me cypress look like something out of a horror movie?
The chinas are certainly growing well. Your "Old Blush" is bigger than ours even though ours is a few years old (also cutting grown).
