Heritage Roses
In Perth here there are 50 heritage roses that were planted in 1945 in Bayswater, being given away for free. If you are interested in them , let me know and I will give you a contact number

Re: Heritage Roses
Rosalie, definately take them. I go to a lot of trouble finding the oldest roses to propagate from so these would make very good clones.

Re: Heritage Roses
I have no idea what her property situation is like or if she wants more......I think these boys want the roses out soon because they don't want to see them die over summer

A trailer, coffee and a cut lunch and you will be there in no time. The Roe/ perth to bunbury highway should cut time for you.....

Re: Heritage Roses
not with 3 sprogs in tow and Kevin on nightshift. How soon do they need to be moved ? I might be able to see if my sister up in Perth might be able to help out but I don't know what shifts she is working atm. She works as a cas. nurse at Fremantle and also flies with the RFDS so I daren't ring her .... I always manage to ring her when she is asleep lol.
I might be able to get up there next week when K has his days off ...
I suppose they wanted them gone yesterday.
Did someone say 1946 ?? That would have been about the time my grandparents were planting roses in the garden of the new house that they built in Nedlands.
Amongst the bushes there were Hadley , Signorina Puricelli [spelling] Golden Ophelia ..... Last time I went past their old place the roses were still there too.
