Heritage Roses Available...

I was contaced recently by the owner of 'Kelly's Cottage Garden Roses and Perenials' to let me know that she had a number of heritage roses available to be reserved for the coming winter mailorder period. The list is made up of old HTs and Tea roses (climbers and shrubs) including Alister Clark roses. This is the list as was sent to me:

Souvenir de Wootton Climbing
1899 Very old early HT
Crimson large double fragrant blooms,
Repeats, moderate climber.

Vestey's Yellow Tea ROR
(As shown in Tea Book)
Found Tea Rose, soft yellow blooms in abundance
Vigorous, wide well covered bush.

MME Jules Gravereaux
1900 Tea Climbing
Apricot peach yellow double blooms
Moderate sized repeating climber.

Argosy
1938 Alister Clark
Old HT, upright growth, repeats.
Fushisa pink and salmon orange double blooms.

Bruce also has an assortment AC climbers, these are not rare plants but are
well grown from excellent parent plants. Ask for names if you are
interested.

Thank you for the link Tas. I have had a delightful look at her beautiful and informative web site. I would like to be able to get some roses from her in the winter. If there are any other Taswegians wanting to do the same would it be a good idea to band together to simplify the inspection and freight issues?
