Re: Poppies
Yummo, any chance you could save me some seeds, does not matter if they are all mixed up, I love them as they attract the bees for the veggies

Re: Poppies
Very pretty. They look nice in amognst the roses too but you have to get the fertiliser balance just right so they dont collapse all over the top of the roses .
I've been collecting seed of different types but my beds weren't ready in time to scatter them for this year.
I saw some pix a couple of months ago of the flowers someone grew just from scattering the remains of their baking poppy seed from supermarket .
I have bought seed from this place on ebay too , nice stuff to scatter out in amongst the roses.

Re: Poppies
O' corse not !
It's "P" my friend , "P". As in paeony poppies !
D'yu want to get Simon into trouble ?
A couple of months ago , one of my ozgrow mates tried to send me some seed of different coloured ones from Adelaide .
The first lot to arrive , didn't.
I collected the envelope from the General Store with the rest of my mail but it was empty ; appeared to have been steamed open and resealed.
The second lot that he posted didn't arrive at all.
Weren't game to try a third time .
cheers. Rosalie
