Could be the Tea Mrs. BR Cant. The pix is slightly more purple which could be the camers etc. Mrs BR Cant is a little more pink but the bloom is close to identical.

TheE... see if you can get some more diagnostic-type shots of things like the leaves, thorns, buds, new growth, whole plant, stipules (the little fringy thing where the leaf joins the stem), and (later) hips if you can resist dead-heading Rolling Eyes I'm tipping a DA of some kind... looks a little 'Mary Rose'ish to me.

It does look like Mary Rose but there are a few DA's by your photo that it could be . It looks nothing like Mrs B.R. Cant as pictured in the tea ladies book. Anyway I really like it , it is a lovely rose.

looks like the Mrs.BR Cant I have growing here. The one in the Tea book is a lot lighter than mine. Can't judge colour from colour plates in books.
Even the best paint colour charts can't be relied on.

Carole is it like the Mrs BR Cant you have growing at your home?
