Hi, I thought I would like to introduce myself, my name is Carmel and I am from Geelong.
I am waiting for my bare rooted roses to arrive at the end of August. These are the ones I brought
Firefighter, parole, Black Caviar, Falstaff, earth angel, summer romance, Abraham Darby, Gertrude Jeckyll, Heritage, Graham Thomas and Mary rose.
I hope I can manage to get them all settled properly. Very Happy

thank you. Smile

Hi Carmel, Welcome.
Some interesting roses, Modern HT's, some David Austins.
Ok, let me get to the point, why the mix of Ht. Da's ?
Have you got the ground prepared ?
Why are they
being delivered in August ?
Are you in Geelong it's self or outside ?
How is that for starters, this info will help in your "addiction" to roses.

It does not matter at all, I just look at what roses people grow. They will develop a good root system in a pot with care, what style of pot ?. We have friends in Lara.

I am not far from Lara, I have a few friends in Lara to, and one of them love roses to! I am getting 42cm pots for now as I will be putting them in the ground next year. Is there much to do to prepare the soil? What roses do you have? My sons are renting and the front and back yard are full of rose bushes. Smile
