Re: Amazing Grace rose
Bred by the doyan of Australian rose breeders Bruce Chapman Amazing Grace is Australia's Pope John Paul ll being a white hybrid tea with good exhibition form and fragrance. The most popular of the Australian bred roses sold by Ross Roses and considered by Bruce as his best rose. Personally I haven't grown the rose but it is on my list for the coming bare root season.

Re: Amazing Grace rose
You are right as far as I know Ross Roses are the only nursery with Amazing Grace. I have purchased a lot of ABR's from Ross Roses and I will be purchasing a number of them this year. Along with Amazing Grace I be ordering Loves Gift and Dame Nellie Melba.

Amazing Grace
Year: 1992
Hybrid Tea Roses
Height: 3ft - 4ft
This beautiful hybrid tea, in our opinion is one of the best in its class.
Lovely full blooms of rose pink which are ideal for cutting as they last well in water.
The superbly shaped blooms are produced one to a stem with no clustering.
A tall upright habit with semi-glossy green foliage.
Very good repeat flowering performance with the added bonus of a superb fragrance.
The parents of this rose are both famous in their own right, and they have successfully tranmitted their best qualities to their offspring.
Highly Recommended.
'Typhoo Tea' X Grandpa Dickson'

Re: Amazing Grace rose
Dan have a look at my post two above, a link to HMF, it appears it is not here, you might have to send an email off to Cockers in Scotland to see if it ever got to our shores.
