Re: cat from Rustons
I can handle 305 minis no problems Still haven't got the catalogue... going to give them a bell tomorrow to ask when, and to where, they sent it in case it has gone astray (wouldn't be the first time to here )
This is what she said :
Maybe this isn't a lot compared to the numbers of other varieties available

Hi Simon
We have quite a good selection of tea roses many of which have been planted in the last three years. They won’t be put onto our database until winter. We don’t grow a lot of miniatures.
Our current catalogue is too big to send electronically but I’ll send it by post and include the planting sheets for the new tea rose.
We charge 25 per eye for 100 buds and over or 50c per eyes for less than 100. Minimum order is 20 eyes.
I’ll get this posted to you today so you should have the info by Thursday.
Maybe this isn't a lot compared to the numbers of other varieties available

Re: cat from Rustons
*shrugs* The secretary said Anne is really busy right now (and I guess all the time with an operation that size) so it's no big deal. I guess small orders like mine are a PITA for such a big business so I'm happy to wait till it's good for them (though I am impatient by nature with this kind of thing so it's a bit of a test for me ). I've never budded so late in the season though so I hope it will still be ok when they get here. If it takes too much longer then I'm going to wait until mid-spring next year or order winter-type cutting material instead of budwood.
