Black Spot
This year i have made much more of a effort in the foliar spraying department , last year it was a bit slap dash and the roses had a fair amount of black spot ,this year i have been trying to spray weekly , except for the days when it been really hot . I have noticed a definate improvement in how much black spot the roses have . Its not gone completely , but the roses don't seem to be defoliating like they did last year . I have been using Yates Uplift , be warned though this stuff smells like rotten fish , and i use a face mask and hat when spraying , cause the wind seems to blow it back on you , it seems to work though ......

Re: Black Spot
Neptune, some of the things you brew are suitable agents for riot dispersal.

Re: Black Spot
I'm no expert Rosy , maybe the growers can answer it better than me , but i think i have read that it makes the cells of the leaves stronger and more resistant to black spot , but you got to spray at the right time , after 5pm at night and before 8 am in the morning and not if its going to be over 24 degrees , i think , google foliar spraying !!!!!
