A rose call Thomas
Had a strange request from a person who emailed our Rose Society. Apparently someone has departed and they want a rose by the name of Thomas...Tommy.....or Tom......
Found a few like Sir Thomas Lipton etc,..but not first name only.....is anyone able to help here please

Re: A rose call Thomas
No one seen a rose with the name Thomas, Tom or Tommy in it?
I know DA has a Graham Thomas but I am looking for other suggestions.

Re: A rose call Thomas
Well, thank you for trying... I'll just have to let them know that there is no rose called Tom, Tommy or Thomas... I have already done and they still try to find one, coming back to me with questions about roses grown in the UK or US...
Thanks again

HMF does list some options but it's unlikely many of them are in Australia?

Re: A rose call Thomas
The Australian Rose Breeders Assoc Inc members usually help in this regard
The seedling can be registered in what ever name the person nominates.
The Office bearers details are probably on the Net.
I can't see any reason why I can't give details in a private message if you Email me or use the message facilities on this forum.
