My 9 and a half daughter taught me how to copy and paste and do the flashy headings for the roses, so she has added some smilies too.
I really enjoyed my Gallicas in Spring.

Thankyou Orchard40 !
And it was very easy after my daughter helped me. I will be carrying my camera around the garden again starting tomorrow.

Here are some photos of my Fortune's Double Yellow when it was blooming in Spring. I am sorry if you have seen them before.
This rose is atleast 15 years old, was grown from a cutting and it became my rose when I bought this prorety 6 years ago. I dind't know the rose was here till after I had bought here. It was my plan to build a rose garden here to make up for the rose garden I had lost through fire and then a divorce.

I have already gone crazy taken photos of roses in the past. You have alot of roses yourself looking at your list. My roses are only young roses.
[admin edit: Karen I just made a little adjustment to this so it would show all your photos ]

More of FDY
I mustn't have give them time to come up last night so with my doubles I have replaced them with four different ones of FDY again. Thanks for your kind remarks about this rose !

The photo with my daughter in it shows a bit how thickly the canes grow, if you look in you can see it layer upon layer upon layer, criss cross every which way and very thorny.

Re: Help with puting photos on here.
Karen, despite having seen these photos before I NEVER get tired of seeing them. They are lovely. FDY is a rare and beautiful rose (not in the sense that it is hard to find... I mean rare as in uncommonly lovely of beautiful form).
Re: Help with puting photos on here.
I have edited the above post that had the repeats with four different ones.

That is one fantastically beautiful rose bush Karen! What a treasure to have on your property! I can see it needs the space of a country garden to looks its best.
