Budding roses might be your next occupation John.
On another note John, those couple emoticons are good, what's the chance of adding them to our list.

Re: Odd Ball Conversations
Wendys "giggle" and "snigger" if that can be organised, as Wendy said a smaller version might fit better.

Re: Odd Ball Conversations
Today my wife sent me a text, saying she was in Casualty.
When I got home I switched on the TV and watched all 50 minutes of it, never saw her once, the lying sod.
She still hasn't come home yet.
I'm starving.

Re: Odd Ball Conversations
I thought this is the best place to add something of this nature.
Guess what Carole just had delivered today,
800 Gladdy bulbs.
Anyone got some spare time to help plant them, PLEASE.

Just leave them out and your dog will eat them. Ours did that to Lee's 200 Ranunculus bulbs.

Re: Odd Ball Conversations
Thanks Gary, luckily we are without a dog at present, we only have a cat which rules us. So might need a new toilet area tho.

Re: Odd Ball Conversations
This seems the appropriate place to say what I want to say.
I/we had a visit, even as short as it was from one of our members and his lovely wife Lee. They are having a few days in Beautiful NSW looking at old towns and quirqey shops. They also had to adjust to our daylight hours as they come from north of the border. They were only here for the night and the four of us had a great dinner at our local craft beer restuarant, A great meal and the best part was the company of Lee and Gary(Balinbear). It was good to put a face to a computer known person, even over the years Gary and I had spoken it is better to actually sit and talik, thanks for the visit Lee and Gary, hope the rest of your travels are safe. NOT to many "Rose Rustlings" along the way. Last but not least thanks for the present, if anyone is wondering what the present is, Gary gave me a potted rose cutting of 'Molesworth Yellow' and with that name I guess the readers of this p[ost can tell what colour it is.

Re: Odd Ball Conversations
Hi all
Yep we are having a good time and currently in Mittagong for another day before heading home. Visited plenty of 'quirky stores' but have not done any more rose rustling. Found quite a few other plants for the garden along the way and picked up several odds and ends to add to the collection.
As usual our holidays are too early and missed the best rose flowers though there was a nice Lamargue and several DAs in Kangaroo Valley.
Thanks to you David and Carol for the other night and we will catch up again next time we are passing through.
