My new roses for the year so far..... 2023066572 Jordan
It is the most gorgeous salmon pink! I love it as well it is supposed to have a lovely fragrance, I am waiting for it to open a little more to see if it does have a nice smell.

Your roses are beautiful. And I think you have solved the mystery of my unknown yellow rose. I do believe it is 'Candlelight' so thank you! If you have any other photos of this rose I would love to see them to compare.

Oops senior moment, apologies Tam. The same compliments apply of course. Thanks for cluing me up Jordan, not like my neighbour who has let me call his wife Lyn for about 3 years and I just got a note with their holiday contacts and her name is Gaye....

A friend wanted it so I gave it to her, in the rose world there is a saying which is also in the world in general, "what comes around, goes around." Basically we share.

I'll rachet up the sentiments on Ao - I'd rate her as a A-list rose for fragrance. HMF describes it as honeysuckle-ish. I think, and I don't disagree. Beautiful. pleasurable perfume, really. Tam, your Ao's colour is a lot better and deeperthan any I've had. For my Aos, their deathbed pink is the only negative.

My sentiments on the colour too Betsy , thats why i gave it a " good " rating , just something about the colour that doesn't really grab my attention , but a good rose and definately not one i would pull out , so you'r safe little Aoteroa !!!
