Need 2 Identifications please
Hi Everyone, Have had both these plants for a year or so. They are both about a foot high and a foot wide. They have never gotten any taller or wider. Both Floribundas. Please help me identify them!

Re: Need 2 Identifications please
Both are pretty, but I absolutely love the second one, especially with the crimson buds next to the blushed open flower. Hope an ID is forthcoming. Any fragrance???

Re: Need 2 Identifications please
Very slight floral scent for both. I really hope someone knows what they are. They are very small blooms too

Hi Roseman, which one do you think is Bonita? I have had a look at HMF and can't see the similarities but if you have photos I would love to compare.

Teesh, the bottom one, which is open, I will check whether I have a bloom of ours to compare.

Re: Need 2 Identifications please
Rosy, could the second one be sexy rexy, which is a floribunda and has similar sort of swirl in the centre and a camellia/waterlily type bloom.

Re: Need 2 Identifications please
Sorry I don't think so The petals (best I can describe) are wavy. And it's not a big flower (I should probably measure). But that Sexy Rexy looks very nice I should add it to my list!

Re: Need 2 Identifications please
Sorry, I don’t know what they could be, but know exactly what you mean about the amazing contrast between the buds and open petals of the second one.
All I could add, maybe, is that these roses could be a lot darker elsewhere. Most of my roses (with only few exceptions) are at least two shades lighter soon after opening than in the catalogues, because of the strong sunlight here.

Re: Need 2 Identifications please
Well that might cut out 'Bonica' and the thoughts of one of the Iceberg family

Re: Need 2 Identifications please
I don't remember where I even bought the second one and I don't think the first even had a label.

That’s how it goes when you’re having too much fun: roses seem to suddenly appear from nowhere.
