One of my favourites, it always gives a beautiful bloom on strong straight stems and always opens perfectly.

You have got a lovely lot of colour there Dave. I love the way it goes to apricot in the centre.
I have this rose for the first time this season but mine is a lot paler that yours. I have it slightly under the drip-line of a flowering cherry tree. maybe it doesn't get enough sun. I should prune the tree back a little.

This one is a lot darker than the one I cut the day before. I gave it to a friend, so didn't get a photo unfortunately, but I love the way you get different colours with every flower.

As I cut this one and put it inside yesterday I just went and took another couple of pics, I love how it changes as it opens wider, looks a lot lighter tonight:

Lovely pic's David. I no longer have this rose but still have some pic's of it. Was a very big plant in my garden, got very tall maybe 7 ft. Heavy flushes of blooms and the colour was much darker than yours, must be the difference in humidity. Unfortunatly it defoliated several times a year in my climate.

That's a lovely rose, David. I like the stripeys and that one is not too "Glary"if there is such a word.
It's on my list

Certainly one of my favourites Val, you can't go wrong with it I reckon. But perhaps I'm biased, I just love all the stripeys... Very Happy

Tropical Sunset is actually the only striped rose I have so far. I bought this back in March.

That is a great pic Betty, very representative of the variety too IMHO.
