I have a mini white that is going real well at the moment but I noticed a bit of a funny flower on it yesterday, it has two "sides"to the flower but only came out of one bud

An occurrence known as a fasciated flower , sort of a simese twin type of effect.
lots of different plants do it , sometimes it's stems , sometimes it's leaves .... sometimes it's flowers .
One of the most common things to do it around here are your ordinary everyday dandelions [not capeweed].
