Re: Heavenly Rosalind
It's... Heavenly Rosalie (LOL) but... I prefer your rose Rosalie! Betcha it's healthier too. Thanks to you I can't wait to explore Carabella now too!
Re: Heavenly Rosalind
I have just been trolling the web about this rose. On HMF it looks very "similar" to your beautiful rose Rosalie. On David Austins English site it is tinged with pink, this is the link to it,

David Austin's contact person in Australia is, Leigh Siebler, contact is, [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
The spelling of Leigh suggests to me it's a girl. From memory they are a law firm. Rosalie if you contact them "they might" help in relation to who is the main agent in Australia and possible release date.
Hope some of this is of some help. David.M

Re: Heavenly Rosalind
Thank you for the welcome. Nice to be among rose friends.
Yes, the photo looks like HR. HMF brings up a US reference only, though I confess to be no expert with getting the best out of HMF.

Re: Heavenly Rosalind
I think this blueochre(David) deserves a very warm welcome, reason being, with a Christian name like that and also posting on his joining RTA. Not like some that join with enthusism but do not join in. That is my rant for today.
blueochre, are you a 'premium member of HMF or just a look member. There are benifits on being a premium member on it.
Ok back to the topic at hand, I am just having lunch, I will search some places tonight, neptune isa premium member of HMF, he might find some things before I do.
Again a very warm welcome David, post and ask when you can.

Re: Heavenly Rosalind
Thank you roseman. I am not a premium member, so maybe someone with a premium membership might have time to check. It is not listed on the Australian DA site , however it may have come in a while ago and has been reclassified as an English Rose. There are other options for this style of rose, however the style and colour appealed to me.
Regards
David

Re: Heavenly Rosalind
David., next option is go to the sourse. DA's legal eagle here does not reply. We go to David Austin's team in England. Give me a day to check some things. Is there any other matters while we/us are emailing DA to ask.

Re: Heavenly Rosalind
Thanks David, appreciate the help. There are no are DA queries. There are a few older varieties that I would like to track down which were here at one time as I had them and lost them during one too many moves.
I picked up DA rose Chaucer today on fortuniana root stock. I have had two goes at this rose over the years without success. Last go and if the Fortuniana root stock fails then I will forever admire it in photos. Hopefully the rose in real life for me lives up to the mental image I have.
Thanks again
David

Re: Heavenly Rosalind
I believe Mistydowns has some of the older DA roses that are hard to come by and are no longer readily available, it may be worth while checking them for the ones you used to have.. Chaucer is one of my "must-get-hold-of's"... Beautiful rose
Re: Heavenly Rosalind
Thanks Lildeb. I am placing an order with Mistydowns for this winter.

Re: Heavenly Rosalind
Rosalie, at last count 5 David's, 3 regulars. As for feral, where did that bit come from, we over on the nicer East Coast are "refined" persons.

Re: Heavenly Rosalind
Oh yes please David.
Do you still want a piece of The Little Girl's Rose ? I have a rooted cutting that is looking good atm and I will take some more soon.
I'm going to have to take simon's advice and pull my finger out and work out how to grt it registered [if that is what you call it.]
