Leaf hoppers are tiny little things. Baby green frogs love them so I don't like spraying cause of the frogs.

Must be little birds that eat them. Unfortunately we don't have a lot of little birds. Maybe its beacuse someone keeps knocking down the trees so they have no where to live I guess. We have lots of bigger birds which I think chase away the finches etc. They live in our bush but you rareklly see them out side of it.

G'day Gary! Glad to know you are looking out for the frogs! Thumbsup I do too!

I have quite a few medium-sized brown frogs stuck to the outside of my kitchen window - near a strong light - every night & everytime I checked my rose seedlings last Summer I would see 3 tiny little round frogs hiding amongst them (I think they enjoyed the security of the wire cage my rose seedlings grew in LOL). I would always choose the frogs welfare over annoyong (but soon to vanish) pests & a bit of disease!

Anyway, I have no idea what a leaf hopper looks like so I'm off to find out...

Damo

I was woken one rainy night by a bloody big green frog. It climbed through the window somhow and jumped onto me.

Scare the living out of me.

We have lots of little green and brown frogs and quite often see large green ones.

Unfortunately we have a load of cane toads as well.

OMG the horror Gary! I love frogs but not on me! LOL

While living in QLD I lived in constant fear of green tree frogs jumping out of the toilet and attaching themselves to my "area"! Surprised

It never happened, but one night while walking downstairs with my hand on the railing my hand found a coiled up snake! OMG!!! This big! Sweating

Ah snakes you have to love them. We have a few about. We had a carpet snake living in the roof of one of our sheds but it has moved on. It will probably come back now winter is here.

My brother hates snakes and I pull tricks on him as much as I can. We had him stuck on our verandah one day cause there was a tree snake near the stairs. He wasn't going to move until that snake was gone and of course I wasn't going to move it for him.

You know some people have no sense of humour when snakes are invilved!

I see a few snakes around my place (copperheads mostly) & - although I am not a huge fan - I leave them well alone.

TBH only one living thing in nature scares me...*cue 'Jaws' music* LOL

BTW Gary...your poor brother! roflmao

Pythons are cool BR! What is your snakes name? I'm guessing not "Fluffy"! Wink Laughing

You're right Damo.

What I said I did to my brother is certainly not the worse thing I did to him with regard to snakes.
