Thanks Bemo and Rosemeadow. Yes, i had a good day. All the family popped in to wish me a happy birthday. One daughter is in the USA at the moment and i talked to her on the computer. It was amazing as i went onto Google Earth and had a look at where she was staying and where she'd been etc.

Simon, one of our daughters is in the USA at the moment and i was talking to her online this morning. At the moment they are in a town called Lancaster PA. The closest large town near them that i can get a temperature reading from is Philadelphia....minus 7DegC. Glad it's them and not me !!

-7.... that's about what we get down to here in the winter. -12 or so about 50km further south up on Cradle Mountain (see the snow pics I posted here a little while back). I love the real cold weather.. I hate this heat.
