single pink and white floribunda @ Highfields House, Tas
Any ideas what this might be? It is in the gardens of Highfields House in Stanley, Tas. It's a modern rose because the garden has been pretty much redone with very little of the original garden left... and it is a repeat flowering floribunda. I love single pink and white roses and they didn't know what it was at the house. Photo taken this morning. I didn't stop to smell for a fragrance. The bush is pretty low and quite bushy. Foliage, as you can see, is glossy and a light green.

No doubt about you Deb... I would almost certainly say you are right!!! Thank you It's such a lovely rose! Check out it's HMF link: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] David... given the way ot was being grown I'm surprised it didn't have chickenpox too The wind there is strong enough to blow a dog off a lead! Judging by the way it's stamens die off like they do I was suspecting multiflora in its background not too far back. Wichuraiana also seems to have got a good look-in. I have 'Royal Bassino' and have heard of 'Red Bassino' and just plain old 'Bassino' but didn't know there was a pink one too
