Is anyone familiar with Avner's Hope?
I have seen this rose for sale at a chain hardware/homewares store near me. (I'm not sure how specific I can be..but its not the B store).
Its a lavender colour, and smells yummy and slightly citrusy.
It looked like it could be a floribunda, but there is very little non generic info on the tag. ( no registered name, or even grower/supplier info) I googled, and put it through helpmefind, but there doesnt seem to be any info on it at all, except that its a charity rose in support of a pancreatic cancer foundation.
Has anyone had any growing experience, or know any other info about this one? It looks lovely, but the lavender roses tend to have a bad rap healthwise...and I would rather donate the full price straight to the charity if its going to be a dud.

Good morning, I do have this rose and here is some feedback. I find it very susceptible to black spot but it does produce a mass of beautiful blooms. Its exhibition name is Vodacom. Information can be found on help me find pages sorry not allowed to post link
