Wow, Ozroz, fantastic roses. If they were available I'd be lining up. So many standouts for me. You should be proud. Where to now?

Re: New registrations for 2013.
Thanks all;
Maree the ones I really like are
Thomas of Fife
Vivid Pink
So Grand
widgee Didgee
Ruffled Burgany
Alecto
Asteropè
They are good performers other wise I would have registered them, its hard to choose.
Bruce my idea of roses are those which can be grown without much ease in a garden , flower their heads of without the need of spraying. I am pretty choosey which seedlings I keep, and those which are rejected, due to health problems or failing to give the big flushes of blooms, which every one wants in their gardens. A great Australian rosarian once said ( I breed roses for the garden not the show bench), I am in that frame of mind as well.

Fantastic! I'm glad you registered Mauve Kiss that would have to be my favorite as I'm partial to that colour. In saying that they are all beautiful too.

Re: New registrations for 2013.
Are there any fragrant ones in this list of delights, Ozroz? I'm looking at Plum Jam - what a great colour!

Re: New registrations for 2013.
Warren, I like your thoughts on breeding for the garden. I sometimes get side tracted down the exhibition trail. Have some nice seedlings with what appears to a combination of health and passable blooms for exhibition. Blackspot has effected a large number of roses here in the past two weeks after all that rain making it easy to pick the duds from the studs. I'm about to register a Mini Flora that appears quite healthy. White with deep pink to red centre, medium fragrance and 60mm blooms. I have seen a few of Alan Reid's Mini Flora's lately and am quite impressed. Red Gem has impressed me due to how long the blooms last ( Seven to ten days) have budded 6 or so recently.

Re: New registrations for 2013.
Warren, great roses. I love them all. Just wondering how easy or difficult is it to come up with names for those beauties.

Re: New registrations for 2013.
Thanks Alee. I can be listening to a song on the radio and hear a name for a rose within the lyrics being sung. The names are then matched to the character of the rose bloom.
