Warren you might have nailed itOzroz wrote:Danny your climber is Pierre de Ronsard
I have just had a look at HMF and might think more about it as PdR, Danny's photo doesn't have the pale pink to the outer petals I think

Dont look at the bloom shots but the picture of the climber its self, the blooms are very Ronsard, one of my favourite mod climbers

Re: My roses 2012
Governor Macquarie looks like Darling material. I tried to follow up on HMF, but there’s very little info on that rose, not even a picture! (Why not fill in some blanks there?) But it does fit my criteria for next year, i.e., being Australian bread AND having a strong fragrance, so I’m a bit keen to hear more. Does it have that strong fragrance for you, Paul?

Re: My roses 2012
Your right Jac2 not alot of information on it at all. It's not a real strong perfume rose, but still a nice flavour to it.

I suspect we're all a bit smitten with Atomik from when you first gave us a sneak peek. What a glamourpuss, love it. It's registered, I take it? (in that it has a name).
As for Sonic Boom - forgive me for quoting George Columbaris, but... Boom Boom, Shake the Room!

Cheers, Danny, GM is still looking good, even with a lighter fragrance …
