Has anyone ever grown a Deane Ross rose , if you have , what sort of rose is it ? Thanks

Maree, I guess you mean the rose named for Deane Ross by Ross Roses breeder George Thompson. Below is it pedigree, it has some good family members.

Same here sallybcs , not a member , probably should be though , they offer a good service . Found this rose on the Ross roses website , they rate it very good along with Onkaparinga and Dame Joan Sutherland . I think i'll have to try it next year , i have a Delbard Chartreusse de Parme which has the most divine scented flowers but the bush is a black spot disaster and its a standard too , one more year to improve or its coming out ....

Sally and Maree, if you click on the link it should open up the the lineage, I just tried it and it worked. When the HMF page comes up, make full page of it and hover your mouse over every name and it tells you about it. Most of the roses in it are PINK closest I could find to pink, hope it works for you.
