Now what can I say about this new member, some of us will remember her from another forum. Judy, otherwise known as "scubamid" is our newest member. Apassionate rose grower from Qld. I am guessing that she would have been through some of Qld's weather, but I will let Judy tell her story. So from me and on behalf of our other members, welcome Judy.

Hi Judy! A very warm welcome to you. Probably not the best choice of words as the east coast of Australia is going though this exasperatingly, humid, clammy summer heat we have unfortunately ended up with. It sounds like its now poor VIC’s turn. As David alluded, I hope that QLD’s experience of the recent cyclone and floods up there have not caused you and yours any grief. From memory, you would have been near, if not right in the thick of the cyclone?? Glad to see you (& furry friends are safe).

We look forward to your input. I am also so glad that you used your real name as your handle. Makes it so easy to know who one is talking to as I have to admit, I am not good at retaining handle names any longer.

I am hoping that other rose friends from the former forum days will take up the invitation to join us soon. Reminds me that I need to post some old pics of the former GW RIO member get togethers. Stay cool. Rita.
