Tassie has had a bit of rain lately.

Heres a [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] (sound may be a little loud) from our local paper in Launceston of some areas recently.

This is what the area with the suspension bridge usually looks like. The [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] are right in the middle of the city.

I hope we can get a few nice days soon

Mind you the farmers (who have been in drought for 5 years) are complaining they cant get their shearing done or their poppies sown hehe.

There's a lot of hilly come mountain country in Tassie and when it pours rain watch out if caught in the rivenes and gullys. That's a lot of swift flowing water, great video, Thanks Ripley for sharing it with us.
Used to live around Trunkey Creek, very steep hills and when it rained, cars were washed off causeways and people drowned in them.

Don't think I will move to Tassie despite the cheap home and land prices.

Thanks for the link, Ripley. We didn't have flooding in the far South, although the rivers are very swollen.

The aerial shot of the gorge was very impressive. Its a real shame that it caused more problems for the farmers, they really needed it spread over a longer time.

Hey, Bemo, 37 C must be awful. Bet you can't wait for autumn.
