Decided to get the book from the library. Can't think of the proper name for it at the mo, you know, Tea Roses for Warm Climates I think. I did give the library the right name though, and its ISBN too, but you know what?? I have to wait until four other people have had it! I am the fifth person to order it!
Now come on you lot! hand it back quickly. Don't leave it lying around the house and forget to return it because if you all have it for your full allotted three weeks each, it will be three months before I can have a peep at it. Sad

That is really nice of you Simon, you are really very kind but the cost of the postage both ways could be a good deposit on a book of my own which I am not ready for just yet so I will just grumble and wait my turn.
As long as you all know I am suffering. >8@

You are all more than kind and you have given me a good idea Carole. Actually it is Bill's birthday tomorrow. I could buy it for him. Laughing
On second thoughts I have already bought him the Fawlty Towers dvd so he can't have two presents.
Your kindness overwhelms me Roseman but it is not that I can't put my hand on $20, it is Meanness that is my guiding star. Suspect
And I like to moan too.

Bill says Thankyou. We went to a double birthday tea tonight where the other celebrator is 9 but their birthdays are on the same day. We ate roll-ups and fruit cake with whipped cream and drank sparkling grape juice.
pig pig pig
Then came home to 6 happy birthday phone messages. I think he feels very loved.
Bill says to tell you the two numbers of his age add up to 9 like his little friend.
