Mothers Day
To all the mothers on your day, you are the of the day. to you all. Hope the males and children spoil you all rotten. I forgot to mention the four legged children(the animals that you might have) send their love to.

Re: Mothers Day
Had a good one - it rained all day and I sat and knitted. One daughter gave me a truck load of Toblerone - so good for my weight loss, the other made a contribution to Oxfam to support an AIDS orphans in Tanzania. It's her birthday on Wednesday I gave her a loan through Kiva which she used to support a group of mothers in Mali. It is nice just to know your kids appreciate you, even if it is a 'day of obligation'.

Blossom, It is lovely seeing you posting. You are such an inspiration always so busy, gardening, cooking, knitting , babysitting and sewing etc. I do wish you would take things easier though. If however you need any help with the Toblerone's. I am only Tooooo willing to help you out. . Carole

Re: Mothers Day
Yeah, I had a great day too. A box of chockies walked in the door so I had to eat them quickly to get rid of them. I suppose I could have shared them but I forgot.
Phonecalls from the three mainland sons.
Then attended a string concert in the afternoon with Abbi and our men. That added some gentle culture and refinement into my day.
All very pleasant.

Great to hear you had a great day Billndee.
We went to the tip and scored a very modern big looking fridge that seems to work. It will soon be goodbye to the gas fridge.

She did not.....
But then I didn't save any of mine for Billndee either
It's hard to stop once you get started on choccies isn't it?
I also had a good day with mainland phone calls and a very nice afternoon at the concert with Billndee

Re: Mothers Day
Rosemeadow, that fridge sounds like a great find. I thought the tip operators took all the good stuff out to sell in the tip shop these days?

Re: Mothers Day
I didn't get any chocolate and Blossom has not shared her TOBLERONE'S with me But I did get lovely other presents and my Daughter is taking me out for lunch on Thursday. So I am really lucky - but I still like TOBLERONE'S and NO this is not an ADD.

Re: Mothers Day
Abbi, it is only a small bush tip and we asked the people for it before it was actually off loaded from their trailer. Its a huge fridge so I look forward to when we have the electricity to hook it up to. We give it a go on the generator and it goes good.

Re: Mothers Day
That looks a bit like the size I got. There were three packs in it, the girlie-grandies polished one pack off in about 10 seconds flat. I was good to send them home on a sugar high.........

Thank you so much Simon, I look forward to you delivering it. Funny I thought you were a little older than your picture shows you
