Question Please

Hi Everyone,

I was just looking closely at my roses last week and find that several have lost most of their leaves and are re-shooting while others still have their leaves but are also re-shooting. While they are all looking rather scraggly I am resisting pruning, (and wasn't planning of pruning until about early Sept???) as we can get frosts over winter. But what about those that are re-shooting?

They will shoot and lose their leaves due to the change of weather. Just keep the area clean of disease leaves...... maybe Balinbear can add more scope as he lives AQLD as well

Yes pretty normal beahaviour for up here especially this year with all the rain. Ours are doing the same.

Let them grow and carry on with your usual pruning thigh I think September might be a bit late as the hot northerlies we usually get in October may result in a bit of damage to the new growth.
