Bare root orders, winter 2015
So, what has everyone ordered?
I haven't ordered anything yet. My short course in Permaculture Design finishes in 3 weeks, so I've been working like mad to get my presentations done. Part of my project is to redesign my place, so I've decided to hold off on buying any more plants until I've finished my design.
But I still what to know what everyone else is getting this year, so I can live vicariously through you all!

Re: Bare root orders, winter 2015
Zoe, we have a list of 40 which was down sized. They have been ordered but put on hold till 2016 because of our holidays. One that I have "preordered" not released till then anyway is a David Austin which I have been chasing for 4 years, 'Tranquillity'

The reason we decided not purchase was the care the roses would need in their early days. I shall post the list in the next couple of days anyway.

Oh yes, I remember you talking about Tranquility aaaaages ago! Very nice rose.
Good plan re: roses vs holidays. Sounds like you will have enough on your plate.

Tranquility looks and sounds lovely. Interesting to read in HMF comments about it growing happily in quite shaded conditions.
I'm not getting anything this year either. No room. But like Zoe I want to know what people are ordering too.

Re: Bare root orders, winter 2015
Danny, it is a rose which came from a Spanish rose grower by the name of Dot, I will check whether it was Pedro or his son Simon which bred it. Mudgee Red is not it's introduced name, again I will try and find it's introduction name.
A bit more ,

Danny I have not got the time at present, but if you are a premium member of HMF, you can track it down using the breeders listing on HMF, if you are not I will endeavour to do it in the next day or so.

Re: Bare root orders, winter 2015
The only one I'm actually ordering this year is Coeur de Neige. Otherwise it will be the odd "pick up" from Bunnings etc. Really no more room! Famous last words!
