Re: my first picture
The teacher makes all the difference (school kids should be a doddle after this) By the way if you look to the left of the picture you can just see the entrance to the chicken house, no wonder they don't lay they are always in the dark. C.

Re: my first picture
Wow! That is amazing! You really do need a farm to keep a rose as big as that!
It must be an absolute picture in the spring.

Yes, it is the double one. All you need is a chainsaw and other tools of trade. Just ring and let us know when.

Dee, this my Banksiae in full spring flower. We did not take a black and white photo, when my teacher gets out of school he might be able play (fix and tell) how we get colour, any other help with this would be gratefully excepted as we are Dee any ideas.

Re: my first picture
Yeah- you are right clever clogs .it is growing over a tree on the right. But what do you think of our posting of pictures, pretty good eh! You should now get lots of pictures from us. By the way you have to feel sorry for our poor chickens living a lot of there time in darkness . They do spend the best part of the day out in the garden eating our seedlings though. David is at work picking grapes so I posted this. Carole

Re: my first picture
I just love it you two... I've got both the double yellow and the double white (like yours) and hope they end up that big one day Maybe I can plant it with gigantea and get both massive flowers and small ones growing together
Re: my first picture
Simon I know this should be off topic but in spring a lovely flower display is if you plant the double yellow (lutea) alternating it with a purple wisteria along a fence or pinned to a wall looks fantastic. Both of these grow well from cuttings. Worth giving a try do you think :?:Carole.
