Off topic to share
I thought this would be amusing to share.
We bought a pure bred Ragdoll Kitten some months ago, to give us a little indoor company, awe she is so cute. She's about 5 months old now and strictly an indoor cat.
Well yesterday we came home and couldn't find her anywhere, she was nowhere to be found, not even in her favorite places. We finally found her.... in the "shower basin"
Now when she goes missing, you guessed it, she' in the basin. What tha... it's freezing in there lol

She's a real beauty Paul. A bit of a character too by the sounds of it. I wonder what the attraction is with the basin, it's not the usual soft comfy place that cats seek out, is it? What's her ladyship's name?

Ah Silky, her name you wont believe it... Koko Loko, Koko for short, we named her after the rose of the same name, which we hope will be available in oz soon. The blooms are a beige colour but then go to a blue/lavender colour a nice quirky twist.
Well we fixed Koko up tonight, we filled the basin with water, she's not impressed, keeps wandering into the bathroom, then she starts her meowing, awe bad luck puss.

Re: Off topic to share
We bought her some new fluffy little mice things that she loves, she's just like a dog, throw the toy she will fetch it an drop it at your feet. If you ignore her she bites your leg, ignore that she jump up on your lap and drop it on your chest. Now you might say, awe that's cute, but all night while your watching tv, ahh! annoying. lol
Re: Off topic to share
Ahh cats, they are a law unto themselves. What do they care if you want to watch TV? If she gets too hyper, try a nice soothing massage session on your lap. Alternatively you could leave her in the bathroom for a snooze in the basin. She sounds lovely!

Your right about the temperament of Ragdolls Autmn... my 5 year old grand daughter carries Koko around like she's a doll, she wraps her up in a throw rug tucks her up and puts her in the cats bed, puts her in boxes, does heaps of things that a normal moggie would scratch and bite if you did the same stuff. Awesome kitten...

I'm a bird lover and small mammal protector. Cats are very
agile and great hunters. They kill birds coming down to feed on grain around my pony feeders. Please put a collar and bell on your domestic cats to warn birds of danger.
They grow to a large size if left to fend for themselves in large rural holdings. I have seen them kill a rabbit by biting them around the neck and holding them.
I did have one in the feed shed that used to go hunting and bring back snakes and leave them on the back door mat.

Better still, keep your cat strictly as an indoor cat, if they never go outside they wont know any different.
