A Rose for a very Good friend
This rose was put up for registration today for a very dear friend, it has a rather quirky name, but very good. See if you can pick who it is for. Hint Bruce should know.

What an absolutely beautiful rose, she looks so flouncy and delicate!!! And I LOOOVE the name!!! My goodness there are some amazingly talented and dedicated breeders around! Would be lovely to see more recognition of their efforts and creations
and that especially includes some of the amazing folk we are fortunate enough to have on this forum.

Re: A Rose for a very Good friend
I should give you some explanations about that name.
Who is my Wizard of Oz ?
Warren of course ! A magician who breeds the most beautiful roses I have ever seen.
The name symbolizes the link between our two countries : Belgium and the land of Oz
I chose to keep the name in French for two reasons : because someone told me French names sound sexy in Australia. And the second reason is that all my French friends would have great difficulties to pronounce "wizard". French people are very bad at languages

Oh my, what a lovely rose for a very lovely lady. Ethereal but warm and strong looking flower, has an Old World charm about it.
I think we need more Belgian tourists. Two come to mind ;-))

Warren, did you not go to Lens Nursery whilst in Belgium. The other thing which European Nurseries have taken on your roses.
