dannyboy I think you will find the brown rose is named Julias Rose. I was interested to see you have Our Golden Son as that rose was bred by the late Trevor Grant a close friend of mine. I have a bush that was a cutting off the original bush as well as two bushes that were given to me by Angus Irwin the Managing Director of Neutrog. Trevor also bred Let's Celebrate and Governor Macquarie. If you like pink roses you will like Governor Macquarie as it is an excellent exhibition rose with a reasonably strong fragrance.

Thanks Ausrose.I love Our Golden Son such a big flower with nice petal count.I already have Governor Macquarie got it this season as it was a bit hard to find in Melb.Nice flower and very strong bush.

I see, you like your HTs. Does OGS have a nice fragrance, Dannyboy, it looks incredible, and which of the two, OGS and Gov.M would you say has a stronger fragrance? I want to ensure that at least 10% of my next order consists of Australian roses, and have only just started to look at them.

OGS I would say has little perfume,but it's flower is so nice.Gov M has heaps more perfume.Yeah that's mainly what I have HTs would love more ,but no room left lol.

You will love GovM strong grower and hardly any BS and blooms so much flowers at a time.

Do you have any other Aussie bread roses you would recommend for fragrance?
