Photographic Competition
The Nepean Blue Mountains Regional Rose Society is once again conducting a photographic competition as part of our regional rose show. All rosarians who take photos relating to the topic are invited to enter.

Hard copy entries should be sent to Secretary NBMH Regional Rose Society C/- 25 Forbes St Emu Plains 2750. Electronic entries should be sent to [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

All entries to be mounted on backing cardboard. Maximum photo size 8” (20cm) x 12” (30cm) plus 2” (5cm) border. Photos must be the exhibitor’s own work taken within the past three years.
Those photographers wishing to email photographs may do so however only those of an acceptable standard will be mounted by the organizer and included in final judging. Limit three emailed photographs per competitor . Maximum size 3MB.

Just find me a rose that isn't affected by blackspot/powdery mildew/botrytis and isn't attacked by aphids/spidermite/thrip/black beetle and your the winner.

Two of the photos in the exhibition which would be of interest to exhibitors were one of Moonstone and one of Kardinal that show what a good exhibition rose looks like.

This photo was in the Rose Garden section of the Photo Competition. It was taken in the rose garden of Old Parliament House.

The winning Rose Garden photograph was one of a garden in WA taken during the tour organised by the West Australian Rose Society during the 2011 NRSA AGM held in Perth.

There will be a photo graphic competition in the 2015 Australian Rose Annual. It will be run in 4 classes and it will be sponsored to the tune of $100 per class. More information will be released when available.
