I'm hard pressed to pick a favourite there Warren.
Eye Candy has interesting petals. I have to admit to liking scent so anything with the real rose perfume would automatically get short listed.

Hi Rosalie; about 80% of what I breed has strong to intense perfume, big call, but its in my breeding programme to do so. Ok here are the rest of the 2012 registrations.

I think you are a bit off the mark calling this thread "Some Colour for Carole", should it not read for the girls of this forum. As I am not a girl I will list my choices from a male point of view.
I looked at the top lot and thought NO yellow, lucky I saw the second installment. In total I have picked out 11 roses + 1.
The + 1 is a standout for me, it is 'Platinum Blonde'. Warren when can I trial it up here
I have to go now so will add the other 11 tonight.

Hi Barbara, Platinum Blonde is very similar without the wavy edge to the petals. One of Jacqueline Du Pre's parents , (Maigold), I have done work with it. This is one of them, very compact and clean in foliage and bloom.

I'm so pleased you used it and will anxiously await the pix. Here in Sydney it does well despite the humidity. Some of the earlier HT's are very weak necked and suffer dieback so easily. Considering it is a rose bred around 1904 I really love it and pleased to have saved it. I am sure I have the only LC plants in Australia. I think the original clone has died. Thanks Warren.

There's 10 there that I'd like. Worth waiting, on my slow dial up, for the photo's to download, that's for sure.

Hi Carole, I had a thought that they may have been the two. The rose plot out of town was ploughed with disc's and I told him not to work it to much because I wanted the soil structure to be a certain way. All I had to do was dig the rows , or row after row .

Still have a about 450 that have been partially assessed, with the Autumn cull going to happen soon so I have room for next August's batch to go in .
