So hot!!! 31 degrees in the shade at 11am!!!

The thermometre is reading 31 degrees in the shade this morning at 11am... I think we must have swapped places with QLD over night on the quiet I've been waiting for weeks for one of my seedlings to flower and it was almost open... this morning it was fried because I moved it yesterday to repot it Crazy weather for Tasmania.

Come on Simon, your thermometer must be off colour. We have a friend in NZ and he has been trying to tell us he is getting 33deg days. We are only on 21.4deg at present. We are not looking at 30deg days till next Monday at the earliest.

Expected top of 28 in Temora, although it feels much hotter because it is steamy, due to the couple of inches we received over Christmas. We are all used to dry heat. I have been doing a few hours in the garden every morning and coming in with a la Hollywood 'workout' sweaty shirt!

Only 28 up our way by very humid this morning (91% at 5:30 when I started). I was digging some agg drains to try to drain some water out of one of the gardens. Had to do it by hand as no machine could get in where it had to go.

I think I lost 10Kg of sweat alone.

Doing some more tomorrow in a different part of the garden. I am gettting sick of stepping in mud in this particular area.

Yep!...we had a 40c today.......the pool was looking good....
