Good morning all, an open question to all. Some would know that I am having a go at breeding roses. I need a title for this travel. This is a blog I guess, but would like it to run on here like a travel through life, imputs along this line are welcomed and asked for. not only from breeders possible breeders, members, Thumbsup names for the roses as they come along, in other words anything.

Regarding names.... you should take your inspriation from the rose, those you love (i.e. to show our long suffering spouses how much we love them...), those people we respect or places we've been. I think Australian roses named with Aussie humour in mind would be really good (I have a few written down in my list of rose names)... e.g. I kinda like the name 'Tall Poppy' for a red rose given how Aussie rose growers like to cut their roses down to sticks every winter Wink . Also... it may depend how you see them being used. It would be silly to call a ground cover rose 'High Flyer' lol!

For your blog...I got no ideas... if you are talking about a Blogspot.com blog then it will cover a range of topics over time and may drift of topic at will... so... so naming it will need to be a personal thing... I just named mine after my property name - until I got tired of keeping it up-to-date.

Start with all the family members,..then take a photo of the flower with them...they will get a kick out of that.

What I am looking for is a title, something like, "My name is seed and this is my Journey". Neptune I like the idea of the picture of the rose and person, that one I will keep.
